Dragons Den is a reality television program format in which entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of venture capitalists in the hope of receiving investment. The format was created by Nippon Television Network Corporation in 2001 and has since been adapted in over 30 countries around the world.
In the UK, Dragons' Den has been broadcast on BBC Two since 2005. The show features five multimillionaire investors, or "dragons", who listen to entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas.
